The Pärnu bridge in Estonia, a white steel network arch over the river, hung on Daver tie bars

Structural tie bar and compression strut systems, made in South Yorkshire.

Daver Steels manufacture high strength structural tie rods and compression struts with a high specification finish for constructional and architectural applications. Tendons are pre-assembled at our works in Rotherham and set to their nominal pin-to-pin length for immediate incorporation into the structure.

Certification

Daver Steels tie rods, compression struts and high tensile threaded bar are UKCA and CE marked to Execution Class 3 (EXC3) to BS EN 1090-1:2009 + A1:2011. Our quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015 by Alcumus ISOQAR.

Daver Steels do not hold a European Technical Assessment. An ETA covers predominantly static loads and does not cover fatigue or dynamic loading, which applies to bridges and much bespoke engineering. Our CE certification letter explains this in full.

Custom parts from Beta Engineering

Our sister company Beta Engineering Services Ltd is a precision CNC machining company in Goldthorpe, and it can make any custom part a Daver project needs. Special forks with spherical bearings, load monitoring pins, jacking turnbuckles, couplers, nuts and washers are machined to drawing, so the whole system comes from one group.
